  is a music television program that focuses on Australian music, giving exposure to independent Australian artists.

  features all genres of Australian and International Music from both established acts and independent music. Filmed in the studio and on location, containing interviews, live footage, music video clips, coverage of events, and special segments.

  is a show for everybody and includes music of all genres from folk, pop, rock, metal, fusion to classical.

  was born in mid 1993 from a passion for music, a love of television production , and a desire to help talent and 'make a difference'.

  was first broadcast on Channel 31 in Melbourne through RAT-TV , which later became Yarra Access, from October 1994 to January 1999.

  was aired as a one hour show for three and a half years on Channel 31 every Thursday fortnight at 10:30pm. Then it was a half hour show that was aired for over a year on Wednesday nights at 10:30pm.

  became global in December 1997. Selected episodes were broadcast around the world - both live and archived - by IpNetTV. The audited amount of viewers or 'hits' during a live broadcast of    on IpNetTV ranged from 127,000 to 165,000.

Many musicians and key music industry personnel watch    each fortnight to see and hear new independent artists. The artists appearing benefit from increased sales of CD's, attendances at live performances, and just general awareness of their existence.

Since October 2000,    has changed from a fortnightly program to a weekly Program that airs on Channel 31 each Tuesday night at 11:00pm and repeated Thursday at 12:30am and Saturday nights at 11:00pm and is one of the highest rating Music shows on Channel 31.
